How do we parent and raise our children in the best possible way?
Mark and I have two children, Mia is twelve and Jethro is seven. We understand that parenting is one of the most beautiful experiences a human being can have. It can also be one of the most painful and one of the most intense experiences. We believe that we are not only here to Raise our children, our children are also here to ‘Raise’ us. Our children are our greatest teachers.
We realise that there is no one education system that actually teaches us how to parent. We didn’t learn it, and our parents didn’t learn it. We go in, completely untrained. As Seekers, Mark and I educated ourselves and have learned from many teachers – Professional trainers, NLP coaches, other Parents as well as Spiritual Teachers along the way.
In this Start Up Sunday Conversation, we’re going to look at six different belief systems about parenting that we need to discard. And with each associated belief system, I will share 6 unconventional paradigm shifts that will bring enrichment into your experience with children and help you to evolve and become more skilful in this game we call Parenting.
